SAMPLE PAGE LAYOUTS

This page shows the before and after of
2 old photos of my Great Grandparents and what can be done with the
right product, whether it is the paper, stickers or some other type of
embellishments. You always want to make sure to use photo safe, acid free
and lignin free products so as to protect the longevity of your photographs
whether they are old or new. If you have any questions as to what you need
to do for your really old pictures, please don't hesitate to call and I will try to answer
your questions.

I am using black pages to do my
Heritage pages on, as I think the color goes better with the colors in the
really old photographs. You can use printed paper, a solid color paper or
just mount the pictures on the album page. On this particular page, I used a sheet of paper from K
& Company that I think goes well with my Heritage theme. I cropped the
photos and matted them with paper that blends in with the colors in the
paper. Make sure you use the right type of mounting tape and paper.
The stickers I used are from Creative Memories, Rebecca Sower and Paper
Adventures - all Heritage type stickers and archival quality. Once
everything is placed where I want it, I then do the journaling with an archival
safe pen. Once done, I place a photo safe page protector over the
page and put it into my Heritage album.
